How to Use
Two to three pumps into damp skin after cleansing or bathing. Face, neck, décolleté, or anywhere dry. Apply while skin is still warm so it seals the moisture in.

Gilded Goddess is a face and body serum made from organic grass fed beef tallow and cold pressed rosehip oil. Tallow is close in structure to your own skin lipids, so it absorbs instead of sitting on top, and it carries bioavailable vitamins A, D, E and K. Rosehip adds natural retinoic acid to brighten and smooth. Scented with real jasmine and frankincense, never fragrance oils. Four ingredients, nothing else.

Frequently asked questions
Does it smell like beef?
No. Properly rendered tallow is close to odorless on its own, and this one is scented with real jasmine and frankincense, so it reads warm and floral with a resinous base. Scent is personal though. If strong florals are not for you, this is worth knowing before you order.
Will this clog my pores?
Tallow is not rated on the comedogenic scale, which was developed on rabbit ears and does not predict much for human skin. In practice most people use it without congestion, especially applied thin on damp skin. If you are acne prone, start with a small amount at night and give it two weeks.
Can I use it if my skin is oily?
Yes, and it often helps. Oily skin is frequently dehydrated skin overproducing to compensate. Use one to two pumps at night rather than three, and skip it under heavy makeup until you know how your skin responds.
Why did mine arrive soft or separated?
Tallow is a soft fat and it responds to heat, so a warm mail truck or a package sitting in the sun can change the texture. It has not gone bad. This is a pump serum, so some thinning is normal and the ingredients will recombine with a gentle shake. If it arrived very warm, let it sit somewhere cool for a few hours before using.
How long does a bottle last?
It depends on how much you use and where you use it. Generally, if you are using it on your face only, a bottle lasts a good while at two to three pumps a night. If you are using it on face and body together, expect to go through it faster. Most daily face and body users end up on the 4 oz.
How long does it keep, and does tallow go rancid?
Grass fed tallow is a stable fat and this formula keeps about 12 months from opening. Store it out of direct sun and away from a hot bathroom window. Rancid tallow smells sharp and sour, which is unmistakable, so trust your nose rather than a date.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
The base ingredients are simple, but jasmine and frankincense essential oils are ones some providers advise avoiding during pregnancy. Check with yours before using it.
